Welcome to Safehands

What is a crèche?
A crèche provides supervised childcare for limited periods of time. They can be established on a temporary basis to care for children while their parents/carers are involved in time-limited activities such as conferences, exhibitions or weddings. Some are in permanent premises and care for children whose parents/carers are engaged in particular activities such as shopping, sport or training.
Do crèches have to be registered?
Permanent crèches and temporary crèches that run more than 5 times per year at the same venue must be registered with OFSTED. Temporary crèches that run less than 5 times per year do not have to be registered. Safehands work to strict legal guidelines in relation to all aspects of mobile/permanent crèches, particularly regarding the ratio of carers to children so parents are assured of the best possible care for their children.
Children’s Parties are a speciality and can be perfectly organised by Safehands Network for up to 25 children (larger numbers can be catered for by simply by adding more carers and more activities and entertainment).
